The mission of RSVP is to place working and retired adults 55 and older into meaningful intergenerational service in non-profits and schools that address critical needs in Davidson and Williamson county.

Our partner agencies focus on Community and Economic Development, Disaster Recovery/Relief, Education, Environment, Health/Nutrition, Human Needs, Housing, and Public Safety.

Our goal at RSVP is to provide an atmosphere where our volunteers feel comfortable sharing their passion, abilities and experiences on a schedule that fits a busy lifestyle.

RSVP matches prospective volunteers to RSVP partner organizations through an easy 4 step process

1)    Prospective volunteers fill out an application
and set up an appointment for an interview.

2)    In order to provide an effective match, an RSVP staff member interviews the volunteer about their interests, skills and schedule.

3)    Adults who are interested in working one on one with children or frail adults go through a background screening process.

4) Volunteers are then referred to an agency that fits their profile
where the volunteer agencies provide further orientation and instruction.

If your volunteer placement doesn't work out, we are happy to meet with you to again to find a better fit.
